This position is focused on transforming high‑resolution 3D laser scans into precise BIM and CAD deliverables. You will work with point clouds, GNSS/LiDAR datasets, and geospatial workflows to produce architectural, structural, and civil engineering models using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and eXtgsi’s proprietary CAD extensions.

You will work with point clouds, GNSS/LiDAR datasets, and geospatial workflows to produce architectural, structural, and civil engineering models using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and eXtgsi’s proprietary CAD extensions.

Responsibilities
- • Process terrestrial and mobile LiDAR point clouds for BIM and CAD production.
- • Create accurate Scan‑to‑BIM models in Autodesk Revit (architectural, structural, MEP-ready geometry).
- • Produce Scan‑to‑CAD deliverables in Civil 3D (surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, topographic plans).
- • Apply geospatial standards, coordinate systems, and survey control to ensure positional accuracy.
- • Use eXtgsi CAD Extensions to automate workflows, classify geometry, and accelerate drafting tasks.
- • Clean, segment, and optimize point clouds for modeling efficiency.
- • Collaborate with surveyors, geospatial engineers, and software developers on project requirements.
- • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and export packages for clients.
- • Maintain consistent quality standards across all deliverables.
Must Have
- • Strong experience with Autodesk Revit (Scan‑to‑BIM modeling).
- • Solid knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D (surfaces, grading, drafting).
- • Practical experience working with point clouds (e.g., LAS, E57, RCP/RCS).
- • Understanding of coordinate systems, survey data, and geospatial accuracy.
- • Ability to interpret architectural/civil drawings and convert them into 3D models.
- • Good command of English for technical communication.
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.
Nice to have
- • Experience with Recap, CloudCompare, Cyclone, Trimble RealWorks, or similar point‑cloud tools.
- • Familiarity with GIS, PostGIS, or geospatial databases.
- • Knowledge of AutoCAD automation, .NET plugins, or custom CAD routines.
- • Experience with UAV photogrammetry, LiDAR processing, or GNSS workflows.
- • Understanding of construction standards, IFC workflows, or BIM coordination.
- • Ability to optimize large datasets and manage complex modeling tasks.
